Work in progress

This project is described partially.

My-Nanit

The platform is the desktop version for Nanit app users, enabling them to view the live stream from their camera and manage their Nanit subscription and payments. It also includes a mobile adaptation.

The previous My-Nanit website focused on managing subscriptions, payments, and personal details.

User interviews revealed a need for users to view their cameras on a computer, especially while at work or when their phone was in use.

Our goal was to make the website a desktop version of the app, offering the same features and value. However, the old design didn’t match the new Nanit’s branding, making the site feel inconsistent and untrusty. As a result, users were hesitant to use it.

My role: UX design, UI design.

Why redesign the current My-Nanit?

Fixing navigation issues

Addressing a problematic structure, including page hierarchy, navigation, and clear flow, to make the site easier and more intuitive to use.

Building for scalability

Redesigning the site to allow for the future addition of features and pages without disrupting user habits or requiring lengthy development, enabling both designers and developers to work efficiently.

Shifting the usage concept

Refocusing the site to prioritize live camera streaming and video playback, keep making profile and subscription management but make it secondary.

Mobile adaptation

Optimizing the site for mobile access to ensure a seamless experience, especially when users transition from the marketing site or redeem coupons from their email app.

Updating the paywall page

Following the app’s paywall upgrade, the website’s paywall was improved to help users better understand the differences between plans and encourage members to upgrade.

Aligning the design language with Nanit's brand

Ensuring the website speaks the same design language as Nanit’s other products by matching colors, fonts, and overall aesthetics to the brand identity.

🚧 I will present 2 examples of redesigned screens. More designs coming soon.
